Great deals on Christian clothes, accessories, etc.

Hello DWDI Family!

   Today, I went with my mother and brother to our local Mardel Christian Bookstore and we were all IMPRESSED with what we saw.  This is not the boring Mardel I remember from my youth.  There are great Bibles, Christian gifts, Christian clothing (t-shirts, caps, jeans, hoodies, etc.), teaching materials, Christian music cds, etc., there, many for reasonable prices.  You can listen to the cds at their various listening stations and try on clothing in their dressing room (that was not a typo; our location only had one room).  I saw some adorable 8" by 11" journals for $2.99.  But the best part is the clearance rack!!!! YES! People who know me know that I love clearance racks!  Yes, it is not cool having to dig around for your size, especially if you are larger lady like myself, but you can persevere and find a great deal! Many of the items on the clearance rack were reduced by at least 50% from the original price.  I found an adorable shirt (black with silver studs outlining a cross) that was originally $16.99 but on sale for 75% off.  That shirt was like $4 and change!!! It is splurges like this that keep me looking cute without breaking my bank, especially since I have very limited funds for now.  I strongly suggest that everyone check Mardel out either online or in-store and see if you can find your own great deals.  You may also want to Google for Mardel coupons to see if you can save even more money!

     Personally, I think it is important to support Christian stores that sell great merchandise and donate to charities. It is also important to advertise your love for Christ.  We as Christians should be bolder about letting others know how much we love God and Jesus, how much God and Jesus love us, and how everyone has access to that love and to eternal salvation.  A cool hat with a Bible verse or a cute shirt with a cross may be the starting point for someone else's salvation.  It can also keep us accountable for our own actions by helping us remember that we represent Christ and that we were bought with a price-his blood.
