*Inspired by the fabulous song by Gospel singer Canton Jones! This is totally how I felt at the beginning of my phone call.
Hey DWDI Family!
Okay, so I have to take a couple of prescriptions, including one for my fibromyalgia. To save some moolah, I decided to transfer one to another pharmacy online a week ago. I received an email confirmation for the transfer, but had not heard anything. I called about an hour ago to follow up and the pharmacy had no record of my prescription. I was slightly annoyed, but it wasn't the girl's fault on the phone, so I stayed calm. She put me on hold, so I held. And held. And held. And HELD. AND HELD. I then called back twice to talk to someone and the calls were disconnected. Okay, I had to take a few breaths and vent to a friend before I called back. Fortunately, I was calm and I got someone else on the phone who was SUPER NICE and helpful. Prescription transfered! YAY!
It is so important to be courteous and respectful to people who work to help us, even when they are not to us. I have learned this over the years and it makes a big difference in getting things done. Sometimes we have to be patient and keep acting as Christ would, even when we do not want to so we can get our goals accomplished.
Okay, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your evening! I will talk to you all soon!
Love,
CCC
