Oops, I did it again!

Hello D.W.D.I. Family!

How are you? I have missed each and every one of you, and I am so sorry I was away for so long! I promise I needed a break due to the following events:

  • Shortly before the examination, my mother was in a car accident.  She was not seriously hurt BUT the injuries she did receive have kept her off from work for close to 2 months.  Her condition has not really improved much, unfortunately, but we are still waiting on Jesus to heal her so she can return to work in good condition.  My mother has always been so independent and always there when I need her so it is hard to see her like this and to see her even more stressed out her accident claim and our finances.  We also stand on faith that God will work it out.
  • My grandmother had been sick for months but suddenly took a turn for the worst.  We were so afraid we were going to lose her if the doctors did not find out what was causing fluid to build up on her major organs.  I, along with my prayer warriors and my family, asked God for healing.  Praise God that she went to a second hospital and she is back to her old self again!
  • While I dealt with fibromyalgia (a nerve syndrome where my nerves are hypersensitive to pain) and chronic fatigue due to the pain, I have also dealt with another unknown condition for the past year that got progressively worse over the past 4-5 months.  I would just ignore or suffer through the pain because I did not want to create any additional medical bills, especially after my mother's car accident.   Just a week and half ago, I was having trouble functioning, even walking, due to the intense pain.  Before, I was just laying down more.  By that point, I was in so much pain I could not really stand, sit, or lie down, so I gave up and finally went to the doctor.  I am still waiting on test results but I have a semi-pain reprieve for which I am truly thankful.  It feels good to be able to walk normally again even though I still have some pain in my back.  Whatever my diagnosis, I am just thankful to know God is always here with me and that Jesus's blood will heal me.  God can and does make a way out of "no way," so I promise that He will keep all of His promises to us.  He wants us to have life and to have it abundantly.  He cares for the animals so I know that He cares for us.  That is what I stand on and will continue to do so.
Now, this is by no means a pity party, but I wholeheartedly believe that you, my D.W.D.I. Family, should know why I've been M.I.A.  I just needed a break for resting after the exam and to deal with these sudden events.  I am still dealing with No. 1 and 3, but am so thankful that No. 2 is no longer an issue.

Well, I am going to head to bed, but I wanted to start catching up with y'all! Lord willing, I will blog more about what's going on as God leads me, including an upcoming entry about a wonderful Christian organization named R.O.W.A.N., so if y'all will bear with me, I will do my best to glorify God though these entries as best I can!

T.T.Y.S.!
Love,
CCC
